Phoenix Comicon 2016Going to the Phoenix Comicon with my daughter was a great adventure. There was a lot to see and do. I had a full event pass so I was there every day. Day one was the most chaotic. Even though we paid for our tickets on line picking them up was extremely stressful. The lines were long and it was confusing getting the passes, on the bright side there were a lot of people in cos-pay mode so the view while waiting was full of remembered characters. ![]() `After we got our passes we checked out some of the panels. We went to one called Time Lords of Gilfred which was an awesome look at the Dr. Who universe and I checked out a panel on Green Lantern. After this we click out the Exhibit hall and then call it a day, it was a great start to an awesome first day of the Convention. Day 2 of Phoenix Comicon Friday we started out with a Harry Potter Panel…. Note to self, don’t ever go to jeopardy based panels when everyone doesn’t get to play. We quickly left and went to a Star Wars panel instead... This was a good choice and the presenters asked questions like “What do you think Luke was feeling when he went into the cave” or Why didn’t Ben clue Luke in about Darth Vader?” This panel was ever Star Wars nerd’s dream. Then we went to the Sean Astin Spotlight. Sean Astin you will remember from The Lord of the Ring trilogies (Sam Wise), Rudy and Goonies (Just to name a few of his movies). He talked about his movie roles (Spoiler He is going to be Guest Staring on The Librarians this season) and answered questions about the fabled Goonies 2 movie and fan questions from the floor. We checked out the Hall of Heroes to check times for Autograph signings for James Marsters and Alex Kingston and to check out what other things were there. Of course out last stop was the Exhibit Hall again. That place was so big I think that it will be a daily stop for use. Tomorrow will be for autographs; my daughter can’t wait! Comicon Day 3 Saturday I spent most of the day with my daughter getting autographs. James Master from Buffy the Vampire and Alex Kingston of Doctor Who. We also checked out the Lego Free Build Area and I explored the Arcade Comicon Day 4 Sunday we did the James Master and Alex Kingston Spotlights ending the day at the Exhibit hall we had a great time this year a hope to go back next year Here are more Pictures - Enjoy Back Issues Comics-Where Comics and Movies Meet!!!-Where Adventure and Fantasy Take you From Everyday Life-Blogs-Comics
